Chris Bosh is understandably frustrated with his team after yesterday's game, but I'm really linking to this article for KG's quote on CB4: "He has to make a decision on whether he wants to be here." On behalf of all Raptors fans, I would like to cordially invite Kevin Garnett to have sex with himself — because as far as I'm concerned, that's something he can go ahead and do.

Michael Grange neither condemns nor defends Sam Mitchell, but he does write, "Even with its limitations it's not hard to make the case that this is a team that isn't quite playing to its potential. That alone can cost a guy his job. Just as Eddie Jordan."

Predictably, Doug Smith doesn't think Smitch should be fired. ("It’s 13 freaking games into the season!", he writes.) Doug, it's actually a little over four seasons into the Sam Mitchell Coaching Experience. I think we have a pretty good idea of his assets and limitations by this point. As for your comment that Avery Johnson and Flip Saunders are "enjoying a year off from the grind spending money owed them by their former employers". Do you have a source claiming that Avery and Flip wouldn't take the job if it was offered right now, Doug? Or are you — as bloggers like myself are often accused of doing — talking out of your ass here?

Cuzoogle has a cute contest going — and by "cute" I mean "mean-spirited, but funny". Correctly predict the date Sam Mitchell will get fired and you'll win $25. Nice!

Deadspin reports on a Cavaliers blogger writing that he wants to curb-stomp Yahoo Sports' NBA writer Adrian Wojarnowski "American History X-style". Apparently, The Woj is more gangsta than I thought because he responded by calling the blogger at home and leaving a message offering to buy him a plane ticket to fly him in to try it in person. I'm not sure what Woj's employers think about this, but I'm certainly impressed. As for the Cavs blogger being such a douchebag just because he's sick of people writing about LeBron leaving Cleveland, I have to quote somebody from the Deadspin thread: "This is why the rest of the blogosphere can't have nice things."

A blogger who works as a copy editor at the Montreal Gazette has a charming headline for his post on the Sports Federation: "The Score unites crappy sports blogs" His point is that The CIS Blog is the only one on the network he's heard of, so the others can't be any good. As you'd expect, I posted a response in his comments but it has yet to make it through moderation.
