I'm heading to Niagara Falls this weekend to play some poker and clear my head (no, not because of the Raptors — well, not entirely) so this is a 2-in-1 game thread for the Friday and Saturday night games. I probably won't post again until Monday, so talk amongst yourselves in the comments.

Washington is 7-10 and has won four of their last five games, including Tuesday night's 106-102 nailbiter over the Raptors. In a show of non-confidence in the Raptors' defence, I just picked up Wizards SG Nick Young off waivers for my fantasy team and I'm starting him tonight. As for Chicago, they're 7-9 but they play in Cleveland tonight so they'll probably be 7-10 by Saturday. They've lost five of their last six and they've only scored over 100 points once this season.

Five questions

1. Dave Feschuk reported that the Raptors had a one-hour meeting this morning to work on the "communication problems" between the American and European players. Hopefully, they settled on a language to use when communicating on defence. Is it xenophobic of me to hope that they chose English?

2. Is Jay Triano finally going to swap one or more players out of the Raptors' starting lineup tonight?

3. Is Gilbert Arenas returning to All-Star form now that he's produced 22 points and nine assists in each of his last two games?

4. Are you more or less surprised that Joakim Noah appeared on the cover of GQ Magazine France than you would be if Susan Boyle was the next Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model?

5. If the Raptors lose both these games, are any of you still willing to hold off on writing off this season?
