Raptors face off against one of the many eastern conference teams that may be fighting for a playoff spot in the 6-8 seed. We need to win this one because of that, and because a front court of Kwame Brown, Ben Wallace, and Charlie V should be carved up by Bosh/Bargs. Hopefully we can keep Ben Gordon in check.

As marz has alluded to, they should pound the ball inside every damn possession. There is no need to get into a jump shooting contest, especially against a team that is comprised of above average shooters shooters. Having said all that, if I was Triano I'd bench the first raptor who jacks a 3. No easy baskets.

It could potentially get ugly if they drop this one with games @ New Orleans, @ Dallas and @ San Antonio to follow. It's too early in the season to call this a must win but it would definitely be nice.

This is definately a must win for our morale. Heading into that next stretch at .500 would be a blessing. Also, New Orleans hasn't been doing so hawt early this season. Hopefully we can steal a win from them as well and end up with a 3-4 record after that road trip.

Is it too early to create a "PickedBeforeJennings" screen name?

Raptors -8 ?!?

What do they know that I don't? Even back to backs are becoming less of a nuisance these days.

PBJ! That's hilarious!

I knew the guy would be good, but I didn't know he'd be this good this fast. I drafted him for a co-workers team and he's tearing it up!

Starters looking really unfocused and no effort.

Wright-Jack-Belli-Amire along with Bargs getting the job done. Nice to see Jack play good O along with being a clear improvement over Jose in D. I still think Wright should start.

I'm startled but pleased to see how quickly our second unit has not only put us back into this game, but given us a something of a cushion. They're showing some nice speed and energy, and most importantly, they're putting in full effort on D.

Got me worried there for awhile, but in the end the starters did enough in 4th to win.

Got to give it to 2nd unit. They made it a game in the 2nd Q.

Didn't get to catch the game but Bargs with 12 boards? That's unpossible!

Looks like our bench really outplayed theirs which is nice to see. I'm thinking the decent rebounding made up for the fact that our PG only had 1 assist tonight...

Got the W! Great 2nd qtr by the Bench!!! And then the Raps let them back into the game via the dribble drive... Gotta be able to stop the ball on the outside... What is up with Jose? Everyone is saying it will take him time to get back into full "game shape" & he will be just fine... BUT what is training camp & the pre-season for??? Should he not already be in game shape? Turk had a great floor game, point forward for sure... Bosh making a living at the line & Bargs with a nice double double!

But where is the DEFENCE???

It's not going to happen. If it were up to me Jose would be playing closer to 20 mpg until he gets out of his funk, with Wright/Belinelli getting time on the floor since at least they can play tough.
