This is a must win game. Our padded lead for 5th in the conference has evaporated. With the bucks winning 8 of their last 10, and us struggling without Bosh, we could very well end up facing Atlanta in the playoffs. Raptors need to hold onto 5th place, but without Bosh that might not happen.

Its getting ridiculous how they are dropping like flies. |

Everyone will agree that the Raps are not a strong defensive team. So seeing Philly get easy looks all over the court should not surprise anyone. BUT when did the Raps morph into a turnover prone team? Giving teams extra possession due to turnovers will bite the Raps in the ass (like today). Raps gotta take care of the ball if they plan to do anything down the stretch & into the playoffs.
Bosh as expected looked winded & a bit out of sync in this one but good to see him back on the court. Raps really needed 1 other player to have an above average offensive game but no one stepped up- Jack with 20 but next closest was 12 (Bosh). Really liked the way J.Holiday & L.Williams were pushing the ball at the Raps. That kind of pressure really forces a team to react & this opens up the floor for slashes to the basket & open 3s. This west coast trip the Raps now head into is going to be tuff as the Raps have not been playing well & are still a bit banged up… Gotta get the Sacramento & Golden St. games & maybe steal the game in Portland... |

Raps really match up poorly against athletic, hustling teams like Philly (when they're motivated) and Atlanta. Let's hope we don't face one in the playoffs.
Can a team succeed in the NBA without an athletic 2/3 who can rebound and create their own shot? I'm not convinced. |
