I really dont know how he could have done anything different Come on People. Especially since the big 3 in Miami had consipired all along to join togethre. Miami is the new most hated team in the NBA |

I guess the only question remains is if fans at the acc will now boo Turkoglu during that once a year visit.

I know a lot of people turned on him, but I'm still a Jose Calderon fan, even after he was ineffective last season. I still hope he does well next season. Getting rid of Turkoglu is great and all the players we got in return seem to fill a need (Chandler with rebounding, Diaw is an improvement on D) or fit the system (Barbosa can run with the Young Guns) while also having contracts that don't tie up the cap for too long. Having a legit center next to Bargnani should be great for his development. Barbosa's been one of my favourite players to watch for a while, so I'm excited to see him in a Raptors jersey. All-in-all, I don't see what there would be to not like about these trades.

The word is that the Raptors wont be using any of the trade exception they got from Miami. Along with Calderon going to Charlotte. There will probably be an expiring contract. Most likely Reggie Evans.
So it breaks down like this Barbosa, Dwayne Jones for Turk Calderon, (expiring contract) for Diaw and Chandler. new line up Jack/Barbosa/Banks Barbosa/Derozan/Weems Weems/Keliza/Diaw Bargs, Davis, Johnson Chandler, Bargs, Johnson exta pieces. Belli, #50, ??? Should be fun to watch Now this all could be a pretenser for a big trade. As it looks there theyll be alot of players fighting for minutes |

If Calderon is truly going to Charlotte he is going to give Larry Brown fits on defense
CV31: You've peaked my interest, if this is a pretenser for another trade, who from our roster would be on the move? |

Well I didnt hear it anywhere. Just since they didnt use the trade exception. They could actually move a low level moeny guy and add in the trade exception and could still trade for a max type player. He might not use it until maybe trade deadline for a team looking to shed salary. Perhaps Memphis Gay or Mayo. Just and example. Im glad i didnt jump on the "Hate BC" bandwagon. Id rather have a GM who isnt afraid to do things than one who is stuburn enough to not fix his own mistakes.

In regards to Jose we have lost a great person from the organization today. But im sooooo happy to see him go. Good day Jose, i will give you a standing O next year. And half of that appreciation will go to the fact i dont have to watch you get schooled on defense every game |

What Bender said.
After all is said and done, Jack/Derozan/Weems/Bargs/Chandler doesnt look like a contender....or even a playoff team. We need a couple of miracle personal seasons to get us over the hump. |

Hear a rumour about the Raps looking at Iggy. I know that would make a could guys happpy here. but what you all think of that? and what would we have to send back other than the trade exception to get him?

Don't want/need Iggy. I mean sure he'd help even further with the defense, but I'd prefer to see what we have in DeRozan/Weems before trading for a quasi-star that plays their position.
