You guys probably dont know that i'm a big canucks fan too (after the leafs obviously). So I created this thread because they deserve a thread of their own. They have one of the best teams in the league and should pose a serious threat for any other team during the stanley cup run. I'm sure there are atleast 3-4 other Canucks fan in here with me being 1, Grizz and whoever else.

Sadly, they got their ass whooped by the lowly Minnesota Wild. Shutout! Damn. Cant believe that. Canucks defense is an issue I think. What you think Grizz?

Did you see the game? Terrible, probably the worst I've seen them play in the last 5 years. No one had any intensity at all. I've heard people blame this loss on Cloutier, and thats not even close to the truth. They didnt look like they wanted to play. There defence isn't as good as last year, but thats what happens when you lose 2 top 4 defencemen. They'll be alright though. Bertuzzi will (finger's crossed) get his aggresiveness back, and the Sedin's are starting to come around now that they have a gritty center who can put the puck in the net.

If they lost 3-4 games in a row then i would blame Cloutier. But this gme clearly it was the defence. Cloutier had no chance at all. Especially that stupid tripping penalty that resulted in a Penalty shot goal. Thing is I want to see them improve so that we can finally have 2 Canadians team in the finals. that's my dream before I die atleast.

CANUCKS GOT THEIR ASS WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPED. 6-2. Bertuzzi was hit a few times but the fans tor the guy apart. In a way he deserves it for what he did to another human being.

And we wooped their ass last week, and we'll beat them again saturday. I'm just wondering how long the boos will go on for, because I remember seeing a sonics game late in the season last year and they were still booing Kobe.

Thought I'd bring this thread back from the dead to bring up the fact that the Canucks just traded for the NHL's premier goaltender, Roberto Luongo. The deal breaks down as Luongo, 6th rounder and a no name for Bertuzzi, Auld and Allen. The sad part is we have so many holes I don't know whether this will be enough, but at least we know have a goaltender who can steal games and arguably the top back up in the league now that Cloutier is a number 2.
