It just seems like a way to distract the blame from Bush and say "hey at least we're trying". It's like firing the coach when the GM still doesn't know what he's doing (even if the coach deserves to be fired). I don't know anything about the guy who's replacing him but he's probably as much of a crook as Rumsfeld. It's not like they're suddenly going to decide to pull out of Iraq. Maybe a small victory, but not a real cause for optimism (as far as I can tell).
