The league is now officially full of teams who realistically think to themselves they can win the championshiop, due to recent trades.
First we got Boston, we the big three.
Then the lakers responded by getting Gasol.
Then we have the suns with Shaq.
next up are the mavs with Kidd.
Lets not forget the spurs and det who always seems to be in the chase as well.
We also have Utah who is extremmly hot since getting Korver.
So who will win the championship? The playoffs will be something to look forward to. Especially the west side,

I dug deep into the archives to say that the West (as of today) is by far the deepest/toughest conference in nba history.

Kind of ironic, isn't it? Kidd establishes he wants to get traded, like so many NBA players these days who think it's their 'right' to demand a trade, and then its blocked, for the moment anyway, by a fellow player who is seen as being selfish because he DOESN'T want to be traded.

I thought washed up players had to be considered good at least one point in their career?

Apparently George asked to be traded.

Yeah he did if they didn't increase his playing time, so they did, but it's pretty obvious it was just because they were shipping him. Both of them are selfish a-holes in my mind, I could give two sh*ts if the trade went through or not.

I hope it doesn't go through. I think it's a great trade for the Nets. Trading a PG that only has a few years left for a quick young talented PG is a smart move. All the cap room and draft picks are all bonus. It makes what we got for VC look even worse.

Trade went through, personally I would rather have what the nets got. Cap space, and an exciting young point guard who is still getting better and some draft picks. It will help the Mavs, but if Kidd doesn't get them a championship this season or next, it could be a real disappointment.

Chris Paul >>> Kidd any time in his career

Yeah if Kidd actually had a decent jump shot he might stand a chance, but no dice on that. Just imagine if the Raps could have had Paul with Calderon backing him up, sick.
