Firstly, anyone who's still using Explorer needs to freshen up. Explorer is VERY slow. Until today I've been using Firefox everyday for the past year and a half. Today I downloaded Safari to see what it's like, and quite frankly, I'm impressed. Websites seem to load twice as fast almost, and the real kicker is that as I'm typing this right now, it's only taking up 34 MB of RAM. This is about half of what Firefox usually takes up.
Also, the layout is a lot better, when you minimize and maximize, it is immediate and doesn't take about a half second to close or open for that reason. So when some of you are watching porn and mommy walks in, you can minimize it quicker, and thus reduce the odds of her seeing what you're up to.
Firefox is top notch, but Safari is just better. BTW it has tabbed browsing as well, along with pop up blocker, it imports your bookmarks, and all the other stuff that you'd want with your browser.
