u gonna drink some of the nectar of the gods, and by that i mean alcohol?
i've been thinking about starting to drink jagermeister this winter, i can just drink it out of the bottle and it packs a punch and is 35% instead of 40%, so a 26 of it would be a prime amount before the bar. drinking beers is more of a summer thing and the old rye and ginger doesn't taste as good as it used to, and i don't drink alcohol mixed with cola anymore.
today in my history class about the years between world war one and two, we somehow got on the topic about international debt and i never realized how huge of a defecit the US is running, it's insane. eventually they'll have to do something and it's just gonna bone everyone, japan and china can't keep giving them loans forever. i'm sure some of the economics or business guys here can tell me more about it, but it seems like the US is gonna take a huge dump in their bed in the next 20 years

According to my, admittedly small, amount of knowledge on this subject, both the countries you named are definately on the way up, but China is still on the path to the top regarding being an economic and physical superpower.
My random comment: I play for a recreational basketball league. It's the first time I've ever joined a league. I have played plenty of pickup games in my life, but this is the first time I've actually played in a league where they keep score, and track player stats.
I did not join to "win the championship," per se; instead, I joined to have fun and get exercise. Winning a game or two would have just been a bonus for me. Keep in mind that I joined a team that has players that never played with each other before (a team of single person sign-ups), and we are playing against guys who sign up as a team and have been playing with each other for years.
I hate guys who play for other teams that is not currently playing who stick around the gym and do nothing but heckle while the administrators of the league sit around and do nothing (it is clearly written in the rules that no heckling is allowed).
And then I remember that these guys prolly have nothing else in their lives than a recreational league, and that I have to learn how to overcome the heckling otherwise I look like a wussy.

The answer revealed: aside from being throughly self-absorbed and wanting to stand out/feel special/make a "signature" of sorts for myself, I write in red so I can easily spot where I posted a response. Sometimes I forget if I posted a response in a particular thread, so I scroll down the page and if I see red then I did share my thoughts (albeit I don't post responses much, but I do read almost every thread. I just say things when I feel I have something to contribute; I'm not much of a person who just likes to hear myself [aka. post-padder]).
That and so I can make Efman's eyes bleed.

no way, birthdays are sweet. any chance to celebrate things is good. last night was one of the best bar nights ever, it was so packed and everyone was in costumes. i wore some super tight cowboy clothes, i was gonna be a gay cowboy, but i ended up looking like woody from toy story. my pants were so tight though, i need a shoe horn to get them on and had to vaseline my ass a bit to squeeze into em. sadly it was so packed and people were in crazy costumes that i didn't meet up with any of my lady friends, it was still awesome though.
my buddy was gonna be oj simpson so we cut his hair and tried to paint him black, but the face paint we had sucked and he just looked blotchy and red... i love halloween now, it's SO good

hey muchacho, gang territory doesn't = "everyone is a gangsta". gang activity is way down since the early 90s, and although i'm sure lots of the population still lives in fear because of senseless jackasses who don't feel inclined to do something productive, it ain't all that gangsta. it's obviously not a nice place to live, but your comments didn't strike me as anything that any 8 year old who just downloaded a video of the crip walk couldn't say
